| A number of libraries have participated in this project. Quite often they do so as part of a District, Metropolitan or County Council, and where this is the case we give free public access in the network of their libraries which are served by "The People's Network". Consequently, as long as those councils have adequate computer access, you should be able to view the images of the books free from any of their communtiy libraries now that the service has commenced. Libraries participating so far are shown in the table below, with an indication of whether or not free access (commencing end March 2006) is available from their communtiy libraries.
