1. More about our project

Prices reduced by 7 - 17%
Good news - we have changed the way we present our prices, and at the same time are reducing prices in the UK. The new prices include UK post & packing, and VAT is not added on at the end. At the lower end of the price range, most of our CD's were priced at £10, which with VAT was £11.75 , and £12.84 once post and packing was included. The new price is £11.99 including UK post & packing with no VAT added on later - a 7% reduction on the previous price of £12.84. For compendium sets, the reductions are greater. The resulting price reduction is between 7 - 17%.

The reason we have taken this step is to simplify our pricing - what you see is now what you pay. Reluctantly, we have had to retain a £1 post and packing charge for overseas to cover costs, but overall, this should represent a price reduction for most of our customers.

Latest CD releases
Although only six new titles are being added in this newsletter, these represent around 60 volumes - there are 30 volumes in the 1st and 2nd series of Collections for a History of Staffordshire, which were compiled by the William Salt Archaeological Society at a time when local studies and archives did not exist, and there was a real risk that original manuscripts might be lost. The solution - print transcripts. The subject matter varies from extracts from Court rolls, to poll tax and muster lists. There are almost another 18 volumes in the 2nd set of Wolverhampton Red Books that we are releasing today. Finally, there are three recent Kelly's Directories for Birmingham and suburbs - 1944, 1964 and 1966.

We hope you enjoy them.
