______________________________________________ 1. More about our project All of the releases in this Newsletter are histories of the local contribution to the War effort in the First World War (1914 -1919). Many are first hand accounts of the Batalions concerned written by officers who served. There is a superb history of the Worcester Regiment which was commissioned by the County Council as part of the War Memorial - very detailed, with 100+ maps and 50+ pages of photographs. All of these books are particularly relevant to any family historian whose ancestors served during the Great War in any of the Battalions featured. Five of these relate to Birmingham, so as a special offer we have put all of them onto one CD at a special reduced price of £25 (inc. VAT) - bought separately they would cost £58.75. We hope you find these additions to the collection useful, and plan to add further Regimental histories as we can obtain them. ______________________________________________ 2.
